Actually it was shot in color (Technicolor)
I first saw it early/mid 70's on the big screen (when they were actually big), early/pre teen at the time, it was years later I found out it was an old film.

Actually, my little pretty, it was still in black and white when she woke up, in Oz, in her house. It wasn't until she looked (walked) outside when everything was in color!!It changed to color when Dorothy woke up in OZ.

it's Dark Side of The Moon, not The Wall, which movie or not is one of the greatest albums of all timeStart pink Floyd's "the wall" cd between 2nd and 3rd MGM lions roar and watch as the film turns color right as "the wall" song changes tempo. A few other remarkable coincidences listening to sound track while watching the movie. Something also about "money" and the yellow brick road or emerald city.
Thanks for the correction. I remember that now. Never tried it but it was a theme of a radio show episode once.it's Dark Side of The Moon, not The Wall, which movie or not is one of the greatest albums of all time
