You aint holding ur mouth right. I did the same thing on a hemi , yrs ago , one tube went around the front frame rail into the drivers side fender well.
Have you tried getting it to slip in w/ the entire header still loose ? Once you n get it , you`ll get better and better at it !
Hang in there >>>>>>>>>>>>"along came Bronson "

I had trouble with the #7 slip tube myself. Slide the tube allllllll the way in.
Twist it towards the head or go upstairs and push the flange against the head.
Then, it is just about dead lined up.

Your starter is out right?
Car sky high on jack stands?
Engine unbolted on the driver side so it can be tilted? With a jack u see the oil pan? A block of wood in between the jack and oil pan?

Al lthe above

Tilt the header upwards and the collector down, slip the tube in between the T bar and about where the flange would be in line but closer to the engine vs the other 3 piles flange. Tap into position with a rubber mallet.

Let me know.

I would be looking for some were I not familiar with how to install headers. I am sure some are available. You should get them.

Get her up in the air , "safely of course ".
Come to think of it, I have never seen instructions on any headers I bought, 5-6 sets ?/ even had a small time friend/sponser , buy 2 sets of hookers when they first came out, the hemi blew them both apart .
