I went to a local car show today and was talking to
the owner of a 69 Dart about his headers.
He said he installed Headman headers with his power steering
and had no clearance issues at all.
Said the only non-original part he used to make it work was
motor mounts for a 1976 Dodge van.
Some pics I took of the system, I have a few more if needed.

Those are bent basically the same as Summit headers. I had some of the Summits on a 71 Dart years ago. Had PS on it and they fit great.

so if i bought these would i need to change motor mounts to make them fit on my 74 dart?

I don't honestly know, I took a lot of pictures of this as I've
seen so many say it can't be done.
I can say his is definitely in and working.
I have a lot of picture of his headers and mounting if
it will help you.
As far as the mounts, I am only repeating what he told me
but I asked him several times.

I also saw him today at another cruise-in and he said he checked
out this site and was going to join.
Hopefully he will and you can talk directly with him.
