Hello, everytime I turns on my headlights this "red dot" is always on. How do I turn it off? Is it my high beam?

Thanks
Bach

On the floor? I will look for it over the weekend, do you have picture of the switch? Last time I look under the carpet there wasn't any switch just speaker wires.

Far left, your left foot, the round thing at far left

I don't think I have that, the previous owner might have either relocated or removed it but I will look for it and take a picture now I know the location, thanks for the help guys.

LOL. Reminds me of an Aggie/(nationality)/(ethnic) joke I've heard where a person failed the driving test because they had an old licensing guide and were trying to work the high beams through the steering wheel with their feet. Old farts know better, but don't assume all the young guns out there have experience.

Ibach73Dart: If you're more accustomed to the European, and more modern, blue high beam indicator, the indicator is nothing more than a piece of red plastic glued to the back of the speedometer dial. Find a piece of FLAT blue translucent plastic, remove the red and tape/glue the blue material over the opening in the back of the speedometer dial. The stuff they use over lights in the theater is perfect.

Here is an update picture n looks like it was removed by the previous owner. Even though the red dot stay on, the headlights is on low.

Not to poke fun at ya,but you just showed your age.
Reminds me of a story that came out about DOT mandating that dimmer switches be put back on the floor as there were to many accident being reported about Blonds having their foot stuck in the steering wheel!

I would worry about what other gomer things the prior owner did. I know CA cars have less rust, but not sure what I am looking at on your floor. I hope it is new replacement sheet-metal that was welded to the rest of the body. I am dealing with some real gomer stuff in my 64 Valiant.

I don't know why 'n hell anybody would remove the dimmer switch. I also don't understand, unless the wiring has been further hacked, why the hi indicator would be lit

Headlight wiring is pretty basic, but you might consider installing relays and if not, halogen lamps

You have a shop manual?

Crackedback on here has a relay kit

The original circuit brought power off the headlight switch, and fed down to the dimmer. One of the two remaining terminals of the dimmer would be "hot" and switch when you tromp on the switch. The hi beam wire branches off and feeds up to the dash

The hi and low power wires come off the dimmer, go through the bulkhead, and feed the lamps

Shop manuals, although 72 is the newest you can download free, and wiring might be some different:

MyMopar has a bunch of stuff including manuals (but not 73) and simplified wiring diagrams

and read these articles

and this one, on the problems with bulkhead connectors and the ammeter circuit

Thanks, I don't know either but I still have my dimmer switch I was hoping to find the hi/low switch like your picture. I don't have a shop manual. Thanks for all the tips n I will ask Crackedback about the kit. Thanks again!
