I recently bought a 1975 Dodge Coronet Custom 2-door Hardtop from a cousin, and although it's in great shape (kept in storage most of the time), I'm beginning to think that out of 35K produced in it's final year, I've got the only one left on the road. I'd appreciate it anyone who owns a 1975 Coronet let me know so that we could exchange information.
Q. Which auto repair manual is better for the garage mechanic (with little knowledge of what I'm doing): Haynes or Chiltons? I'd hate to waste money on the wrong repair manual. Thanks!!
Thanks, and I'm glad to be part of this forum!

Welcome to FABO! Technically, your car is a B Body, so you may also want to join/post here: For B Bodies Only Classic Mopar Forum

Most of the folks seem to think that the answer to Haynes or Chiltons is neither. The favorite is the factory service manual.

I found the brochure online in a quick search, but not the service manual. It's here, in case you're interested: 1975 Dodge Coronet Brochure

Looks like you can get a scan of the shop manual on CD here for $25: 1975 Shop Manual Plymouth, Chrysler, Dodge all models on CD

One of test mules is a 77 monaco 2 door with a 75 roadrunner front header and grille. Im over on fbbo too, and I have to say, fabo is alot more active. Let me know anything I can help with. I hardly knew these cars existed until we picked one up!

Welcome to the site, as stated before, a factory service manual is the only choice for you in my opinion.
I also would love to see pictures.........

Thanks! Shows that I don't know much, but what's the difference between an "A" and a "B"? Appreciate the shop manual link!

A, B, C, and E are the "muscle era" mopar body codes.

A bodys are darts, demons, dusters, early barracuda's, etc.
B bodys is what you have. It's a midsize platform. Chargers, Roadrunner, coronet and later, the cordoba's and magnums
C body's are the land yaht fullsize polara, gran fury's and royal monacos
E's are the cuda/challenger.

Your car looks clean! I need those rear quarter windows for our "75 RR clone"!!

Thanks for letting me know about the "B" body type! Lots to learn about classic cars!

welcome to the site.
Many of us here have B-bodies as well as A.
I am restoring a 68 dodge coronet wagon and I have a few Darts and Demons as well.

You will find a friendly crowd here and if you need parts or anything, SOMEONE will probably be able to help.
