Kudos to you!! Chasing your dream-- wishing you well & thanks for sharing!! Those pictures are great!!

You probably made some local Fabo members realize the beauty around them!!

I did that move from Md to Portland in 95'. I love it here. I hope you're finding your way around ok. Just remember we have two seasons here which took some getting used to, Rain and road repair. lol. The three months of perfect weather make up for the 9 months of rain and overcast sky's. I am surprised that you have no Mt Hood or Mt St Helens pictures even coastal pictures (you're only an hour from any of them. I am in SE Happy Valley (near the now infamous Clackamas town center).

Rani, If you ever want to come out to Portland, you can always hang out here at my apartment for a few nights and I would be glad to show you some of the sights. It is so beautiful here. And there is a cool all mopar wrecking yard not to far away. :)

wow thanks.......PM is coming your way.

Hey J-Mac welcome back and have fun on the west coast. Rani if you're coming into Canada as a tourist (pleasure) you don't need a Visa but you will need a US Passport for identification. Come see the wide open spaces.

Thats the big problem ...i dont have a US passport .....my passport is from India, my birthplace so i need a Visa to cross the border. Unless they accept my papers i have to be in the US.

Well those are some cool pictures. The thread in general makes me want to pick up the family and follow you. Takes some balls to pick up and move like that. Good for you. :thumbrig:

Thanks for the support guys and gals. It hasn't been easy, thats for sure. But I love it here. I decided one day that the only way to make dreams come true is to do something about them. So here I am.

Here are a few pictures from today. I was out with a lady friend and her boy when we stumbled up on a great photo op.

You are making me homesick (Pacific Northwest) with these wonderful pictures. Beautiful places and awesome people.

Love that part of the country.Step Daughter lives in McMinville, just South of you.We spent 2 summers there when we were RVing. Lots of very nice cars in that part of the country and a lot of Car shows in all the surrounding towns.
