Small block Mopars are a bit tricky to seal up. That's why removing the intake when doing a head replacement is the best way to go. The intake gaskets must match the ports, the corner bolts screw into a water passage and must be sealed. Most guys seal around the water passages on the intake gasket and silicone in the corners where the intake, china wall, and head meet. Not so many tricks but just specific things to insure a successful repair.
