Yesterday I called my lawyer, this number has been disconnected :tongue9:
I tried his E-Mail!! It was denied to send.
So I called the lady I bought the car from and set me up with this free lawyer
and she would check this out. She calls me back within 20 min and said she will find out what the problem is, She said he may have just moved to a another
group of lawyer's.
I told her he has all the past paper work I need.:banghead:
I have the time but not the dime.:coffee2:
Is there anyone here that is a lawyer or can advise me before I
go back to this little town and do something stupid :violent1:

I should not need a lawyer for this thing they call a Pro Say.
I am not letting this old coot hide behind his friends he must have in this little hell hole of a town or there law.
the state and county needs a replevin and by god I will get one.:rambo:

So if we do have some one here that knows what a Pro Say is and what to expect can they let me know.

Thank you for your time. Mike

No lawyer by any means but here is the meaning of Pro Say

Pro se is a Latin adjective meaning "for self", that is applied to someone who represents himself or herself without a lawyer in a court proceeding, whether as a defendant or a plaintiff and whether the matter is civil or criminal.

Thank you for your knowledge and time keith :thumbrig:

I just cant wait to see the post of the car in your driveway!!! I keep thinking one of these times I am going to log in and see the car is finally in your hands, got my fingers crossed for you.

i guess i still don't understand how he can still hold it while you have paperwork, keys and what not to prove you are the new owner.

i know that posession is 9/10ths of the law but, isn't that considered stolen?

Mike, exactly what type of paperwork do you have? Is there a title in your name? If so, you may be able to request (what is called out here in CA) a civil standby. The police will (or should I say may) go out with you and basically just stand there and help mediate a problem like this. Usually, the people/party that is holding things up will give in when they see the police there. Many years ago, a very good friend of mine split up with her boyfriend (who was an attorney). Her car was at his house but she was the legal owner of it. He did not want her to take it when they split. She asked me to help her get it and I went to the police, showed them the title and told them the story. They met me at his house. I jumped in the car (she had her keys) and as soon as I fired it up, he came out and that's when he came face to face with the police on his porch. I just drove away and that was that. Civil standbys work well so that situations like this do not get ugly and especially with people that may be considered unstable (and this guy was).

Did you buy a car pay for it and not get the car?get all of your paperwork in hand and anything pertaining to the car such as the advertisement or anything else that might be helpful and any pictures of the car and explain what you have and dont have and I will ask a friend of mine what you can do,she works for a lawyer, also try a paralegal but take your paperwork with you, they are very knowlegable about this stuff and good luck to you.

I just got back from H town:pain10: and I found out that my lawyer has already filled for a new hearing :tongue9:
and I should have got it in the mail today.

He said "my lawyer" I must have tried to call when his new system was being installed.

I am so sorry to bother everyone with this.:homework:

Good news is:cheers: I still have a lawyer to see me though this for free.

I can't wait to get this look with 200 clean HP /6 sleeper show and go

Dude...you crack me up! LOL

Shouldn't you be listening to the teacher instead of looking at car ****?

Listening to you guys is a lot more interesting!

My professor reminds me of Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off:

Memorable movie quote:
"In 1930, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, in an effort to alleviate the effects of the... Anyone? Anyone?... the Great Depression, passed the... Anyone? Anyone? The tariff bill? The Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act? Which, anyone? Raised or lowered?... raised tariffs, in an effort to collect more revenue for the federal government. Did it work? Anyone? Anyone know the effects? It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says? It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980? Anyone? Something-d-o-o economics. "Voodoo" economics."

LOL! :-D

Welcome to this great site.
that sure was deep 8) and I wonder how this thread got from some good eating, to listen to your teacher well:drinkers:.

Hi...... Meken here, (FORMER KUTACANDO,good idea RamCharger)
I see that this is to be contraversal?
I cannot imagine why!
If we raise tarrifs on imports , then that raises prices to bring in, which raises prices to sell with profit. ( every wants to make money, don't sell for the fun of it!), which then decreased the amount of exports and the demand due to higher prices! This was during the great depression. Then decreased the taxes collected items coming over. Was not even a wash as they speculated, budgeted or ..... Total failure.

? When was/or where these adjusted or abolished or.......are these tarrifs the same ratio wise or just stayed same percentage as when inacted?

I say: today jack up tarrifs and ignore nafta trade agreement with all
countries!!!!!! BUT WE CAN'T.

Yes, nafta was set up only to gather more tarrifs allowing a vast amount of imports. THATS ALL!!!!! The government thought we would collect a huge amount of taxes and raise money to help run government and maybe decrease tax burdon stimulating the heck out of our economy making us greater nation that ever. . They were wrong. It has caused manufacturerers to move overseas and import paying tariffs and making a great profits. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Who can fix this due to that it is locked in for how many years with out increase?

Find how long this deal is good for.

After nafta came foodoo economics!

Ross Perot was 100% right on the money stomping and raving, "NO NAFTA"

No good!

There is a lot more to the poor picture that I know you can imagine!

MY SPELLING MY MAY BE LACKING. I AM SURE YOU GET MY POINT/OPINION!!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

MEKEN! ( I LIKE THAT NAME...I WILL GET CHANGED) CHEERS!

huh?

I thought we were talking about breaking old peoples hips, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and not paying attention in class? :dontknow:
