Is there anyone is the Santa Cruz/Aptos area that might be able to assist me with loading an A-body (roller with no eng/trans/interior) on my trailer and perhaps an engine as well in the next 2-3 weeks. I will have my cherry picker with me for the motor.

I would be happy to pay you for your time or take you out for a steak dinner and some beers or beverages of your choice.

Thanks in advance!

I'll help you if you lend me your cherry picker for a couple weeks (got two engines to install). Call me tomorrow at my shop.

Dude, buy a winch for your trailer... it's 2008 already. :-D

I'd help you out if closer. Of course the car would be on my trailer and make an inadvertent trip south. 8)

First of all, thanks to all who have replied. I really appreciate that. Re: a winch. I do have a brand new Warn 4200 sitting in the garage but I haven't finished designing the detachable mount that will go in the storage box which will be sitting in front of the wind ferring(sp?) which hasn't been purchased yet. Talk about complicating things. Sometimes, I drive myself absolutely insane. But as they say ... only the insane are truly happy! ;-)

See those storage boxes are more hassle. LOL Didn't realize you had a storage box on the front of the trailer. Why not build a box within the storage box so you don't have to remove it when not in use? Or is the storage box not that large?

The procrastinating insane are way happier than just the insane. :-D

I bet if we stapled a reminder note to your forehead, you'd get that project finished more quickly.
