help me put together my exhaust

-
got the exhaust put on today fellows

it took about 4 hours (would have taken less if I skipped the whole cussing yelling banging part and went straight to the "cut 2 inches off of one pipe" section)

a little tip that might be helpful to others
I took out the rear seatbelt bolts and welded a 1 inch 5/16 stud on each of them
when I reinstalled the rear seatbelts the 5/16 studs are dead perfect to mount the exhaust hangers on

How was the fit to Doug's headers? Did you need to add anything to fit them to the Summit exhaust?

I ended up cutting about 1.5 inches of the drivers side pipe that goes over the rear axle (the one that connects to the muffler)
im not sure if that was the very best spot to remove that length or it if would have been better to trim one of the pipes closer to the engine but that is the one pipe I could not get on
the passengerside literally flew on though

I do still need to trim the tailpipes though, they aren't even now but ill get to that

not a problem

nice to be able to give some decent info, after all ive taken in ;)
