Trying to find help troubleshooting my 63 Dart Back-up light switch. No power to the lights when in reverse. Haven't removed it yet. Just trying to get a good picture of what I will be looking at. I have the service manual but no real help other than the wiring dia. Thanks

The wiring diagram is all you need.

Assuming the switch is like a 67 there is a switch on the steering column and a pin to activate it. (Automatic)

I believe the switch is in the push button assy. I checked the FSM and it is. It also gets it power from the circuit breaker on the wiper switch.

It's not like a 65 up. It's the push button auto

This might give you a general idea of whats there.
Opening your switch and attempt to repair it? Good luck

Do your wipers work?

Yes, they work like a Champ.... blinkers, headlights, brake lights, all work.... EXCELLENT Video by the way..........Thanks as well. it should be a sticky thread, RedFish....

Got mine working! Found a break in the wire just ahead of the trunk connector. I was able to verify power into & out of the switch then went from there! Thanks @RedFish for the great video!
