Ok, I am trying to install an 8 3/4 rear end into my 66 dart. Took out the 7 1/4 but I need the rear axle brake lines to fit the 8 3/4 . not sure what year the 8 3/4 is. just that its an A body. Anyone got a set of lines??? or where I can get them?? Thanks, John

Right Stuff, Fine Lines and others have the brake lines or you can fabricate them yourself. If using a set of pre-bents, you'll need to know where the junction block mounts - there were 2 different locations on the A Body 8.75 - one was close to the center section; the other was farther out on the tube. One was for early rear ends the other later but can't remember the cut-off.

take ya about 15 minutes to make them yourself. its pretty easy to do.

only difference between the years are where the tee is located. so if you really want to spend the money and just buy them give fine lines or inline tube a call and i'm sure they have the measurements to tell you what you need.

Hey John I did an 7 1/4 to 8 3/4 swap and used all the brake lines off the 7 1/4 on the 8 3/4. The rearends were the same years and both out of a Dart.
You may have a different setup???

Yup, that's what I did. Buy 2 lengths long enough to make all of your bends. You will need a double flaring tool as well. Good to have anyway.
