HELP !!! with Alternator part #

I have a alternator with a part # 3438713 can anyone tell me what the amps are, and what model year its for i dont have a parts # book with this # in it. Thasnks FABO this is a great site.
 
If it's been "to a rebuilder" the part no isn't even relevant anymore
 
look at the wire winding on the rotor. if it is basically full of wire it is 40 to 60 amps. if they are 1/4 in. or better below the lowest groves in the side of the rotor it is 30 amps.
 
3438 713 is a 1972 60-amp alternator with a double pulley. Your single pulley suggests this might be a "remanufactured" unit; if that's the case then the output specs are anybody's guess; rotors and stators and other components get thrown together in the "remanufacturing" process without any regard to which ones are supposed to be matched with each other.
