I hope someone can help me, since I'm hitting a dead end trying to find a power steering pump for my 66 Barracuda. I have a 273 that was just rebuilt and the last thing I need for the engine compartment is the power steering pump. No one has a remanuf. power steering pump for a 1966. Does anyone know where I can purchase one or a alternate pump that will bolt up to the factory brackets?

Check with Doug at Moparts of Las Vegas at 702-274-7642 He had a 66 Dart that was loaded up with air and whatnot, should have PS, he was parting it out.

I have a p.steering pump from my 66 Dart(6 cyl.)I don,t know if you can swap the the brackets from 6cyl to V8,but thought I,d throw it out there.Maybe someone can chime in to see if it can work?

If they're both Federal pumps, (they should be) the brackets will swap but the press-on pulleys are different. If your pulley is still good, you can have it pressed onto another pump. That same basic pump was used for many years. The main differences were the pulley diameters/offsets and the reservoirs which are in most cases swappable.
