Hemi-car...Matching number s Game...good or bad

Wondering if its me whos crazy or him that is a genius...always wanted a 71 cuda , got a 70 and a 74 cuda and the hemi engine+shaker kit , but will never have the money to buy a real hemicuda so im wondering if i should built my dream car like they did.. Started as 73 cuda and now a beautiful hemicuda 71 that can be enjoyed and driven anywhere thats smart...1973 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda | eBay.

if I had a HEMI engine, I would for sure build a HEMI car and give no regard to the numbers

In my case, I have a 68 dart, so add a HEMI and stir and instant dream car.

That is basically what im doing with my 74 barracuda except im going 340 six pack. Got all the 71 parts already, six pack, shaker, 4 speed, wing, fender gills etc etc etc.
Even clones are bringing ridiculous money now. I never plan on selling mine but at least I can get my money back out of it.

I got to drive a friends 70 Hemi Cuda around back in the 90s. Gorgeous red 60k survivor!

The thing that struck me the most was what a doscile car it was until you really put your foot in it. Wound to the moon! None of the horror stories about how tempermental and hard to drive in town etc...

Agree, 98% of the world won`t care if its a numbers matching orig. All car guys like hemi`s .

Like some of you know here i bought a 70 cuda last year ( project ) and a 426 hemi crate engine...was to calm my anger againt the lost of luck to buy my dream car ( 71 cuda sassy grass ) the old man was an *** and backed off and changed ia price at the last minute , so now that i have these things on my side , i might actually think about building myself my dream car from sratch , it will never be a 71 cuda but anyway even if it was a 1 of 1. Hemicuda 71 worth 5 millions dollars i wouldnt even drive the car on the street , so why not build one that is exactly the same and have fun with it right ?

I'd do the 74 Cuda and beef up what I needed to harness a Hemi 4 speed. The 74 Cuda is not worth what the 70 340 Cuda will be worth. You will be redoing most of it anyway. It is your car, do what you want. 70 Hemi Cuda? Your car, your money, your pleasure.

426 Hemi? Lots of eye candy. Stock hemi vs 440 quarter mile, bout tit for tat till the very end. Sure the hemi has more power potential if you spend $ and so does the 440.
Numbers matching stuff! Great for the investor with perfect example, never driven, investment, ego for fat wallet??
I say build a clone now days. Unless you are stupidly wealthy. Anyone on this site both, or just one!!?? ha..Me, just stupid!
