Hello guys!!

I´m not sure if this the right place for this thread.

Maybe yu guys can help me with a new project that I´m working with a friend. He want to make a Hemi Dart Tribute. Our first problem is to figure out the right way to cut the rear panel.

Do you have any tips?

Thanks a lot.

There was a post on moparts a while back. A member posted a picture that includes the wheel. He put the picture on a projecter until the wheel measured 15" on his wall. Traced the pattern on a sheet of paper taped to the wall. I believe the picture came from an actual ss car. From what I've read there wasn't much of a template used by hurst. (both sides of the car being different patterns)

Thanks Dartnut!

But i can´t find those templates you talk about.

See ya.

Phone them or e-mail them.
They should be able to help, or know someone that can.
They build them, so what do they use for templates?

Greg from SSAFX told to search on E-Bay. There I found the template.

I'm certainly no expert, but the angle on the front side of that template sure doesn't look right compared to all the pics I've seen of authentic L023 cars. I'd take abodyjoe's advice and contact Bill to get a correct template, or at the very least compare that ebay template against the real thing before you do any cutting.

Hey, that's the wall of my house. :D Troy used my projector blow up that picture and make the template.

The super stock class allowed bigger rear tires as time went on. So the racers enlarged the wheel lips to fit the larger tires. So going of most current cars will not give you an "as delivered" templete.

This is how Troy's Hemi Dart came out:
