So as I am doing more dream building and bench racing than actual work on the Valiant, I got to thinking about hood presence. While just motor (blower or tunnel ram) would provide the best shock value, it could hinder streetability here in the northwest. So I'm looking at scoops. I LOVE the simple, huge, plain, hemi scoop with support bars up and down. But in the aftermarket world, several exist. some are clean and simple, others have this bubbled edge (dont like). And add in that this is a Valiant...with that awkward dual-crevice down the center of the hood. And its not gonna be a hemi. So is this wrong? C'mon, pics? opinions?

Here's an alternate consideration for you. This is the '68 Valiant our club, Inland Mopars, built as our 2008 charity project car to benefit the California School For The Deaf in Riverside, CA. I think it turned out very well.
I'm also considering this same scoop design for my '69 Dart since I'll be running a smallblock. I also think this scoop design compliments the rectangular grille, turn signals, side reflectors and general styling of the '69 Dart design.
