Hi folks. Another VIN and fender tag question

I've hit quite a few websites trying to decode these. So far the decoders are saying it's a slant 6 but there's a nice little 273 auto sitting in there. I suppose someone could have swapped out the 6 but it's an early 273 and I figure they would have put something later in there.
All I can get from the fender tag is that it was built with black vinyl seats, that info is correct.
I hope someone can decode these for me. It's Canadian by the way

According to this site:
7 = Dart slant-6 (1964)
4 = Valiant Signet, Barracuda (1964), Dart GT, Satellite (1965), Coronet 500 (1965), Sport Fury (1964)
4 = 1964
9 = Windsor, Ont., Canada
176928= 76927th car built that model year in that plant (based on 100001 being the start of the numbers)

Sure it's a Valient and not a Dart sport Fury?

It's a Valiant for sure. I guess someone dropped in a 273. That's too bad, I'd rather it be all original but the extra power is nice and the V8 sound ain't bad either lol.
