So what keeps everyone busy when they are not wrenching on there cars ?

I play guitar to keep myself busy seeing I no longer own a Mopar, Not the same but Im having fun with it. We just you average bar band, we do covers of popular songs from the 60s up. We practice once a week and have been playing out once a month lately.

Oddly enough at our first show I met a member from the board. Small world. Turns out hes friends with the guys in the band and some friends I went to school with.

Adam, playing guitar is GREAT get away from the stress of everyday life thats for sure. Ive played guitar and bass since I was 16. Other hobbies for me include anything that my kids seem to be into at the moment and I ALWAYS have some project going on around the house/yard/garage that doesnt have anything to do with cars.

I did this one for my step-son's little girls.

Another musician here!! I play the upright bass in a bluegrass band that has been together since 1995. I'm like Badawg too, whatever my kids like to do, I get into too. They both ride horses so I'm right there with them, soccer games, whatever the flavor of the month is. And I'm a carpenter by trade, so I'm always building something. I've been working on getting the Cudacave all set up and moving my parts to the bonus room. Spent $900.00 on gravel for the drive, insulating and drywalling, you name it. I usually get to bed around midnight trying to get things done after the kids go to bed!!! Geof

I started on bass and played up right in the high school jazz band, It was pretty cool. My kids are pretty young 4 and 7 no hobbies or sports for them yet. My son loves the WWE though so we watch that together and I know he wants Daddy to get another car we can work on it together.

We hike and fish here in the mountains of california

That is really cool, and bet it takes some real patience. I bet they really love it and their Grandpa.

Myself, I have several hobbies. I spend the most time at golf, and love it. It seems kind of braggish to talk about handicaps, but after thirty years, I am happy with my game. With a couple recent injuries, I am happy just to get out there and enjoy the great fall weather.

I play keyboards. I've been playing since I was 8 yrs. old and have been in a few bar bands when i was younger and living on the North Shore of Boston. Still playing classic rock and blues but not out in any bands. i have been thinking about joining a classic rock band though.

I do alot of photoshopping , making stickers for people (many of you here at fabo have had me make stickers for you). spend time with my family.

But where I live everyone is into mud trucks and what not so we like to go to mud boggs every once and awhile and all this summer me and a buddy of mine took his stock 97 jeep TJ and turned it into an all out trail rig and we took up the sport of aggressive trail riding.

here is a few pics that I can find.

I don't have many updated pics of the jeep in action at the park we go to.

this is a pretty large off road park and its fun as heck, we flipped the jeep on its side once and blew out a window, caved in the fiber glass top and dented the a-pillar but I have since repair all that for my buddy and he put tube fenders on it and new bumpers and stuff to prevent it from getting to banged up.

Thats me in the duster shirt.

P.S. if you look hard enough you will see an idea I came up with and turned into a sticker for the windshield of his jeep lol.

it read upside down " If you can read this... I spilled my beer" .

Hmm, interesting thread. I paint miniatures and play tabletop wargames when life permits. We quaff ale, push plastic people, roll dice, and make fun of each other.

Cool seeing all of the multi-talents here !

I've always been jealous of musicians ( which is part of the reason why my music tastes are so diverse ) ; I've always been fascinated with Mellotrons ( old analogue keyboard ) and the different styles of Bass , and have always had the desire to play , but I lack the coordination .

My hobbies other than MoPars , run from obvious to almost contradictory :
- Model Cars ;
- Drawing ;
- Studying sciences ( on my own ; no 'classical' nor 'formal' training ) ;
- Hanging out with like-minded freaks , and sharing our theories and philosophies ;
- Studying and observing my feline companions .

hmmmm... other than MoPar?
Guns
Sewing
Cooking
Carpentry
Being a curmudgeony ol fart..

Guitar off and on over the years... Love vintage Fenders and know them well, but the oldest I have is a '74. Can't afford the early ones! Have too many guitars and have put them on the back burner since returning from Japan to catch up on my Mopar fix!
