Does anyone else run a Holley 12-887 fuel pressure 3 port regulator? It seems mine needs a little adjustment back to 6.5 PSI which is where I prefer to set my regulator from time to time. Holley states the fuel pressure should be set @ 5 to 7 PSI for my XP carb. I personally think temperature which effects Fuel density which contributes to variance of the setting. Im not positive about all my theories ....... but do feel it plays a big factor. Does anyone else have this issue? Please advise Texas Red

Myself, I have never observed the temp
or Altitude to make a noticeable difference
in the fuel pressure in that unit. We race all over in different
temps / altitude Air Density. Over a period of use/time
we do occasionally have to make periodic readjustments.

They call that a bypass regulator. Are you using g it as a bypass regulator or are you dead heading it?

No dead head situation / bypassing with a return to the tank..... A regulator should stay set period dot! Process factors cause changes and effects....... I agree with GTX re-adjustment is necessary to keep those set pressures that are desired. It varies enough to be annoying ...... and was wondering if anyone else was having issues with the same problem.
I spent over 35 years as a Instrumentation & Electrical maintenance technician as well as process Analyzers in the oil & gas world. I ran across some "Weird things" that happened over those years...... Heat & Temperature effects / changes were the biggest head scratchers............
