HOLLEY How do you turn fast idle off?

I have a 77 street avenger carb I took the choke blade off but the fast idle still is working for the first 10 minutes, approximately. How do I get rid of the fast idle so it doesnt work. On these cold days I dont need it either.

Nope...unplugging wont do it....that'll just make the choke stay on much later. See your other post for remedy. Removing all the choke equipment will stop it from coming on, for sure.
 
Doesn't it have the traditional round choke housing? You can turn them back and forth to adjust. Turn it so the choke is disengaged, or use some lightweight wire to wire the link in the "hot" position.
 
I have it turned to full lean I think full rich would make it stay on longer wouldnt it?
 
Took it apart today and turned it all the way one way and no fast idle the 3 screws on the choke housing was easier then messing with the adjustment screw.
