We use this in the shop. Found a piece of 18" I beam, 1 1/2" plate, and a 50 ton bottle jack.. for now. It can do dippling, 3/8" plate 8" wide. It has an adjustable back stop too. No more hammer and a vise. This is kinda big for a garage, but smaller could be made. Just showing the idea off.

Thats cool. The ones I have seen have the ram coming out the bottom of the cylinder, but If I found a 50T jack and some 18 I beam, I would build one like that too! :)
 
Damn,that's professional quality. Guessing,you are into circle track,or serious offroad.Nice job.
 
Thanks. My brother and me do lifts, race car parts, etc. But it makes things so much easier. We needed to bend plate, but don't have room for a regular size press.
