Hood pins??

I need to know did darts and dusters originally use screws or rivets to hold on the pin plate? I'm seeing both styles that say their original. Also where were they located at on the radiator support? thanks everyone

The hood pin kit that was suppose to be an original replacment from year one has screws to hold it down. It was for a 71 Demon.
You can see where the factory fender has provisions for the hood pin to bolt to.

All I've ever seen is screws. All the "correct" repro kits have screws.

the only ones that use rivets are those with fiberglass hoods.

ok thanks guys- So I have a fiberglass hood so should I use the rivets then?- or just use screws? What do you guys think would look/work better?

Ya, I would like to know also. I'm going to be getting a fiberglass hood also.

same here. if im going with a AAR fiberglass hood that lifts off, what would be the difference in using the screw vs the rivet?
