Hooker header removal??

I would go with 340 manifolds for sure. They fit so nice-no hassles- and you short block is a 318. Spend money on some nice mandrel bent exhaust pipes to further flow.

those headers are sure nice, but on a mild 318, Id try $50 a set junkyard magnum logs. huge outlet, great plug access, and heavy iron. YOu wanna drop $650 on headers for a no build 318? look up some flow data on stock logs to headers on a stock 318, can you feel 10 hp? PLus they are alot quieter, longer lasting and wont cook your plug wires. Now if your using an MRL motor, by all means spend the cash to match your components.

Skip all that hassle, convert to manual steering and buy a set of Hooker 5204's.

If you run lower than a 3.73 gear, or have more than 375 CID or both, than I would look for a set of Hooker 5303's.

Finally got her put back together. Jacking the driver side was definitely the way to go. Thanks guys!
