How about a pic of your unfinished A-Body to finish 2018

My Duster. Dropped the 360 and 727 in this past Sunday. Hoping to get it out for this summer.

Heck Yes, I can play along. My 66 Valiant, an honest-to-goodness survivor. The only things not as it was when it left the factory are the radio sawed out for a modern DIN unit by some idiot PO (grrrrr...), and a manual choke cable added. Paint, body, interior, all original. I'm keeping the slant just because I like them, but it's getting a solid upgrade for a whole bunch more HP and especially torque, A833 OD tranny, 8-3/4 with 3.23 gears and a sure grip. 14" wheels, all SBP. Kelsey-Hayes front discs. Full front end rebuild. Dutra Duals with new 2-1/4" single exhaust. New rear springs, bigger TB's, Bilstein shocks all around with a Firm Feel stage II steering box. Upgraded lighting and electrics. When I'm done, it will still look like Gramma's Grocery Getter. But it will move a whole lot better. I'm 18 months into planning, research, and parts accumulation. The current occupant of the shop is getting either evicted, sold, or hopefully both. In goes the Val for its transformation. When it's done, it will look exactly the same except it will have wider tires and a 4-speed floor shift. Everything else will be underneath and out of sight.

No pic needed for this year.... Either it's on the road by summer again or looking for a new owner lol..... Life is getting in the way and that's ok too.... Not a fan of unfinished car projects sitting too long. I think we will agree that a non running can end up just taking up space...

Might be it's, Mineral Gray. I just wanted something that would not draw to much attention.

I'm fixing it and driving it along the way. I'm hoping to have the rust repair and paint done by January 2020!

Here is what I'm shooting for, except for the buckets:

Seeing all of these 65s without glass makes me wonder why they didn't make a ute version! If I came across one without a glass I think I'd do a reversible mod to it to make it temporarily a truck. That back window angle would look very stylish as a truck! With a trunk! The very first A-body I did real work on was my step-brother's 66 Barracuda.

Beautiful! That blue is in my top 4 favorite colors, the 70-71 blue vinyl interior is my fav interior by far. Is yours a painted or vinyl top? I'm pretty sure I'm just going to paint mine. It seems a shame to cover all of that body work I did!
Mine was originally a B3 (light blue) and the second owner painted it B5. The top is the original black vinyl top.

So help me.... I WILL drive this thing to Mopars In The Park this Year!!! I think I will go ahead and pre-register now or very soon, for extra incentive. LOL
The drive train is going back in this week, one way or another!
Great thread, by the way!

I love that color combo, especially the green stripe............
It just so happens i'm a big fan of green cars.
Toolmanmike's B5 with a black vinyl top is awesome too, and it has the perfect stance to boot!
I would be hard pressed to say which one i like the most!
