How come Darts don't have side stripes? Usually only tail stripes, anyone got pics otherwise?

I respect that. Just trying to save you some grief. Seems like every time I take my Swinger out I have to explain that it isn't a 340 car because the previous owner put the 340 scoops on.

Just nod your head and say Yes because it's easier than explaining it.

I found a few pics (out of about a hundred photos viewed) with stripes. Not too many out there with side stripes.

With the 70-72, you won't find much if any factory side stripes on Darts Swingers. It was butt stripes or side moulding. The fender extensions change the body line a lot, imo

Plenty of 67-69 side stripes

One small center strip is the only thing that looks correct on 70-and-up Darts.

Never was a big fan of "notice ME, officer" graphics.

Here's one from Bad 440/ "Maaco Mike"....
I like ,how it is Mopar traditional.... But not ,normal....

I did toy with the idea of a side stripe, here's a pic when I was messing with that idea. I just did this stripe out of blue masking tape, just to get an idea what it would look like.
