Early A's are really cool the Barracuda was the FIRST pony car!

Value and worth of old cars:
********************************

If you drive it, it's worth its deductible.

If you collect it, it's worth whatever somebody else will pay you for it.

If it doesn't run, it's worth its weight in scrap.

If it means more to you than this, it has a value that cannot be measured in dollars.
**********************************************************************

I've forgotten where I found this, but it seemed worth passing on here.

In my opinion, the car is priceless to the owner. They obviously enjoy the old car regardless of if they have a garage or off street parking. I'd look for another car to buy if that is what you really want. Sometimes they are worth more to the owner than they are to those looking to make a deal.

Agreed! Id say 1000-2000$ but he probably wants a lot more than that. In my opinion you get an old car wasting away in the elements, so naturally people are always stopping and asking if the car is for sale. In the owners mind he starts to think this means the car is super rare and very valuable, not realizing its actually declining in value as its rusts away on the street.
