How do I remove this molding?

I need to take the trim molding off the lip of the of the hood and then on the stop rails. Anyone tell me how to do it? I tried flipping through the manual but couldn't really find it

Vehicle is 68 dart sedan!

Sorry I meant to type drip rails! Along the roof above the door and down the side, along the pillar.
 
I use an old style can opener wrapped with tape so it doesn't scratch it.

the hood trim should have some nuts in the back side of the hood (mine was covered in gunk and I had 5 on the dart but 7 on my challenger) but your might take more due to the shape of your trim as for the drip rail trim .

X2 also on the can opener wrapped with tape.

I used a slick teflon style tape that I had from my work (2nd job as a hughesnet satellite installer) before I retired and can't find anywhere any more #$%#$%. along with the "red" tape we used,but might have located a source for that.
 
I used the can opener this spring. Worked well. You use the bottle opener end to pry the trim loose slowly.
 
I save them all. Here is what I do..

I use a paint stick and a channel locks. medium size

Put the paint stick flat on the roof

Use the channel locks top torward the side glass .

Do not squeeze the chrome you want to leave the channel locks open part way.

Put the bottom jaw against the paint stick and use the top jaw to pry out using just one of the teeth on the chrome bottom edge. Start at one end and slowly work your way to another until it falls off. If you need a pick I can post one. Remember vinyl top chrome will not work on a non vinyl car correctly. It will be loose.
 
Cool yea I had the wife find me am old can opener! Gonna tackle it that way! Also found a video on YouTube
 
I would love to see a pic for your method Oldmanmopar.

I also have to remove my trim and have been hesitating.
