how do you tell the difference between race car tires and drag slicks

Just by looking how do you tell the difference between the two....

I would look at the brand name M&H and Mickey Thompson don't make circle track tires. Hoosier and Goodyear do so you have to be careful.

Are you putting them on a dedicated drag car? Buy new.

Its just a first time build..weekend fun. And street as well...

Too bad you can't find a drag racer that ran half a season and needed a different size. You may have to hang out at the strip and ask around.
