Bought my ev2 70 duster 340 auto #'s matching car in 1993 for a lump sum of $1000.00...Pd a guy 50.00 a week until it could come home, I didn;t even know it was #'s matching until a year ago...Car has been beat to crap and now needs a good resto. But I love the ole girl, she's seen it all. hehe

I bought my Barracuda in October 1987. Of all of the owners it's had, I've owned it the longest.

Got my first in july of 73. My first Duster. The present one
I got in september of 02. It matches the first.
Not going to let this one go like the first!

I bought my 68 GTS in 1993, my 70 Swinger in August of 2004 and my 71 GSS Demon in March of 2007. I've had a bunch of them but I don't remember the dates offhand, they are gone anyway.

I bought the Barracuda in September of 1967, it was a left over sitting on the dealers lot. I still have the certicard in its holder.
1970 318 9-1c/r eddy performer with a 625 carter avs. The cam is a comp cams HE 260 and a 727 instead of the old 4 spd. I replaced the front sway bar with a 1 1/8" and a rear 7/8". Brakes are 74 discs up front and 11x2 1/2 in the back. The front end is new and in the rear 8 3/4 was rebuilt a few years back. I have some dings to take out and then repaint, and a 360 on the engine stand to rebuild and put in.

I bought my Duster on Jan 25 1987. It was super bowl sunday & they guy I bought her from told me to come back during halftime because he didn't want to miss any of the game. I paid $350 for her back then. I was a senior in high school & my parents wouldn't let me drive her till I got insurance.

Bought the Demon in 72, had it ever since. Bought 73, 74, 73, Dusters in the early 90s, 71 Demon in late 80s, 72 Challanger in 93, Getting a new gas tank and replacing the piece of metal between the back glass and trunk, then back to driving her.

Bought mine on my birthday in 2004.

I have never driven it once, unless you count sitting in it when it is being towed in and out of the garage.

The car was wrecked and left for dead. I bought it up and have been working on bringing it back. Hopefully be the end of Feburary 2009 it will move under its own power for the first time in years!

Bought my original '69 340 Swinger used in November 1969. Played with it on the SoCal streets and strips (OCIR and Irwindale) up to the late '70's, then got stupid and decided to turn it into a strip-only car to run NHRA Super Street (10.90 index). Then went through a divorce but kept the car, house, and kids. Remarried a few years later and then got stupider and sold the unfinished car during a cash-crunch time.
Sure wish I still had that car.
Bought a 'new' '69 Dart September of 2006 with plans to re-create the fun I had with my original one. Still in construction but will hit the street again later this year with a 380-horse crate 360, 727, 8.75 rear, Viper-red with white bumblebee stripe restified Dart!

i bought my 69 in june 98. i dont exactly have a fire under my ***. didnt tear it apart till i had my drivetrain ready which was about 3 years. 431 727 and dana 60, i had it road worthy the week of 9/11 first drive of the beast was that labor day. now that was fun. 2003 or 4 i decided to start on the body, put 1/4s on then spent the next year or so stripping anf getting the rest of the car straight. then my wedding came put the car on hold 2 years and decided to have my buddy paint it. i have that 67 2 dr sedan i bough tin 2003 in a shitty misrepresented ebay deal. good thing it wasnt a bunch of money. when i started i was tearing into it real good. havent touched it in 2 or 3 years. it sits under a cover pissing me off.

I bought my 69 a week after I got back from my honeymoon-16 years of pure freakin bliss.
