If LED light bulbs have a bazillion year life span, then why have I changed more worn-out LED light bulbs in the past ten months than I have incandescent light bulbs in the last ten years... The all-new LED street lights in my town that my higher property taxes have paid for, all turned purple. Outside LED lights go dim in cold weather. And the motion-detector LED lights with a 100 foot range actually have a useless five foot range.... My car's rear third brake light burned out, instead of replacing a $2.00 incandescent bulb in the brake light, I have no choice but to buy the whole assembly for $275. But people still keep buying LED lights because they've fallen for the lie that they will save you money and energy.... Ahhh, no... I'm going back to incandescent lights.
