How to attach?

69 Barracuda with a 727.

I got the throttle bracket and the kickdown linkage attached to the carburetor, but what am I missing to attach the arm from the transmission to the throttle lever bracket? One end is threaded and the other end is a ball.

You are missing the threaded socket/clip end to connect the two parts:

If you get lucky you may find one. We used to sell different sizes of "throttle ball ends." Some of them are built just like the Mopar ones

I am not recommending any of these particularly, just trying to illustrate. They used to come pretty much in SAE threads, in different sizes, 1/4/ 5/16, 3/8. You'll have to be careful. This one pops off with a spring loaded collar

Some types are crimped and do not come apart

That is the same part on 318-340 . Top and Bottom rod, Linkage bracket and trans lever are different. I have those rods and ends but shipping would be a game changer.

Just the threaded end with clip. $5.00 plus ride. That covers my time to get on the golf cart drive to the trailer and find the box. Orange is 340 4bbl . Blue is 318 2bbl. There is 318 4bbl I don't have a picture of. Yet!
