I think you may be thinking of the "Worlds smallest violin" when you make that hand gesture.
If you go back and forth, it's a violin...
If you go in circles, it's a record player....

Agree. Plus, here in verrrry South Jersey, we don't worry about earthquakes, wild fires, mudslides, droughts, etc. Also, tornadoes are non-existent, and hurricanes are essentially windy rain storms, regardless what the Weather Channel pushes.Winters cam be harsh in New England, but without that, the passing of time is only recognized by seeing how old you're getting in the mirror each day.
Winters give me the time to plan the next years projects and slowly accumulate the things needed and research how to do them . My heart goes out to you "less fortunate".
Enjoy the Holidays...wherever you are.

This was a little while back, went looking to see how close I could get and some pictures near the snow. This is about as close as I could get and see the show, a did get a lot closer but not with the snow in view, the road got worse, damp unpaved with a few creek crossings (through the water) so I turned around.

All these folks whine about winter, cold and snow.
I dont wanna hear it until you can walk on to your roof, your street signs are buried and the icicles are solid pillars to the ground.
And you should come down here in August when its 97 degrees and 100% humidity. Get a taste of the real Fl. Not the Nov-April BS the snowbirds love.Well if you guys get bored of all that green grass and warm weather you can come up here in North Dakota. We got plenty of frost bite for everyone. lol
Been there I drove semi down there for years in that kind of humidity and you can keep it. LOLAnd you should come down here in August when its 97 degrees and 100% humidity. Get a taste of the real Fl. Not the Nov-April BS the snowbirds love.

Seems like no matter where we live there is one extreme or the other. Sorry you didn't get much rain. The hills are greenin' up nicely. The cattle will enjoy it. That storm that rolled through last night only left a 1/4" here. Back in the 70s on Wednesday . Not going to help the reservoir levels much around here, they're all mighty low.
finally had to put on a long sleeve?Oh please, it was 26 degrees on my way home from work last night (10:30) and like 23 when I got up this morning.
Yepfinally had to put on a long sleeve?
Don’t make me post my tax bill so you can read it and weep!
