im sure this question has been asked already so forgive me.
i have a 73 scamp with a 360 in it ( starter is on the drivers side )
i want to mount my battery in the trunk, how do i route the cable up front without having a big lump in my rug ?

I don't know, I ran the cable on the under carriage, much safer. imo

i mounted under the car with clamps and self taping screws.

Run it under the sill plate. Simple and effective.

Yup. Me too. under the sill channel. Lights/ battery on left, and stereo wiring on the right.

-- I used the same, and ran it along the inside of the driver side frame connector, then across the back, to a cut-off switch, mounted in the bumper, and up into the passenger side of the trunk, to the battery.
