I use to have a bracket Challenger weighing 2,800-2,850 lbs with driver and a very similar engine combos. The best it ever ran with the heads ported with Direct Connection porting templates and a 750 Holley DP was 10.22 at around 130. I figured it was at least 500 HP. Different calculators come up with different numbers. I usually advanced the cam 4* and used a 2" 4-hole spacer, 5.13 gears with 14x32 tires shifting at 67-6800. Had ladder bars and best 60' was 1.37. Same combo with unported heads ran in the 10.40 - 10.50 range. Converter was rated at 4,200, but I don't recall what it actually flashed to. Car had ladder bars also. (My current 360 has a 904 converter that actually flashes in the 5,000 - 5,400 range.)

I don't think you need a 850 and a it may be more responsive on the street with a 750. Fine tuning the jets and accelerator pump circuit can help a lot. It is harder to hook a truck, especially on the street. Don't let it get away from you!

my truck is pretty well built up. its a dodge d100. weighs 3200 with me in it. 4.88 gears and a built 46rh with lockup and 3500 stall converter with manual valve body. im shooting for tens in the 1/4. will be spraying a small shot also. I do have a 750 also I could use also.

Just to compare your motor to my old motor.

I had 13.1 comp, alum rods, 630 lift solid roller, w2 heads flowed 285, Holley strip dominator single plane with a 750 Holley.

It made 545 hp and 454 tq.

I ran a similar combo.. 12.5:1 custom Venolias , 638 comp roller , Eagle rods , M1 single plane , Totally tubular headers (TTI now..) , Norris Stainless roller rockers , titanium retainers..etc...

Herb McCandless walked me through the build over the phone...( those were the days !)

That motor would hit 7800 so fast !

put the engine together..put in the truck..weight the truck.....then tell us what it ran...

then you can calculate the real hp.........

You will be well over 500 hp with out a doubt. I would expect 530-560 hp. J.Rob
