Lots going through my head today after watching my car on the bumper and hitting the wall. I tightened the shock four flats during the repairs and when I got up this morning and saw -62 corrected altitude a gave it two more flats. Well by time my one and only weekend time trial came the altitude was up to 1557 corrected altitude. Driver was a little jumpy but the car did ok.

Hope you had fun. Working on the 4WD conversion, a really decent day for the end of Oct. At 11:30, about 53 right now. Sposed to rain to beat hell Monday.

Well I’m into second round but one of the No Prep guys from I think New York wrecked bad, real bad. Why this guy was allergic to make a pass during this event is beyond my thinking. He got crossed up at the 1/8 mile in the right lane, went hard left and hit steel guardrails and went end for end and then hit the finish line ET pole and during the next 80 feet or so possibly took out our timing equipment. We may be done for the night. The kids trick or treat till 9pm and even if they get things fixed it may be impossible to get the track hooking again.

That my friend is a small taste of the Street Car Supernationals in Vegas. Now imagine a pit area full of those cars. I’ve literally been woken up in 38 degree weather close to midnight for a lane call…… uhhhh NO THANKS!

Yes it was. Car landed probably 350ft past the scoreboard at the 1/4 mile. A friend said that he was 152p mph in the 1/8th.

Called the race over to possibly be continued today. Sunday race goes off first then if we have time pick up yesterday’s race. Might be a long day again.
