I got a strange phone call...

-
Tell her:

So am I in your will? Whatcha leaving me?

OR

Like I give a *bleep*. Huury up and *bleep*ing die, *****.

I usually do my best to ignore an ex. Like the time I was talking to a friend of mine and an ex walked up to say "hi". I ignored her like she wasn't even there. Just kept talking to my friend. After a few minutes of trying to say hi, she just walked away crying. :dontknow:

Watch those bridges you're burning. One day it might come back to haunt you.

You've done your part by remaining nice to her, they do like the softies. So she "left some stuff there"....typical, they always try to leave a back door open so they can sneak back in.

Tell her that since you broke up, you got married, and your wife doesn't appreciate ex-girlfriends calling you at ungodly hours. Tell her that as much as you'd like to, you're really not allowed to do booty calls anymore.

I hope she hasn't moved back to North Carolina... Let me tell ya how she thinks sometimes, I'm pretty hard to pull one over on. When she first moved in I told her that I didn't like keeping a dog in the house, her dog ran wild.. But, cats don't bother me so I let my cat come in anytime she wants.. So she got up one morning before me, went in the living room put a 8X10 pic of my mom on the floor, stepped on it and broke it and blamed it on my cat... First clue, my cat could walk blindfolded through a mine field, she never knocks over anything.. Second clue, the pic would have fallen about 2 feet onto carpet, that wouldn't have broke it.. Third clue, my cat isn't heavy enough to break a piece of glass if she stomped up and down on it.. She was jelious of my cat and tried to frame it (literally) thinkin' I'd boot the cat outside with her dog...

RUNNNNNNNN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!

she is trying to manipulate you. Dont even attempt to be friends RUNNNNNN!!!!!!!!

anything to keep her away would be the best steps to prevention of a bigger problem.

Likely claim pregnant by you next. RUNNNN!!!!!!!!!!

If I were you after that story I would hope she's tellin the truth.

I had an ex that pulled the "cancer" sympathy too. Tried to be the nice guy, but had to end up being a dick and have been ever since!!
Why is it all the wack jobs are the best in the sack??? Afterwards I always felt cheap.....

Have a buddy answer the phone next time she calls and tell him to say that he is your new lover.
That should scare the ex away.

:sign5:
That's funny!

You need to do what you can to ignore her. She is trying to get your attention. My ex-wife pulled the same type crap during our divorce. She took some kind of pills supposedly to commit suicide, but probably more for attention or else I'm sure she wouldn't have told me she took them. She tried calling a few times with various guilt trips later on too, but as soon as she figured out they didn't affect me, she stopped. Some twisted chicks think that guilt is a good way to win over a man...don't let it work on you (that's actually how I ended up married to the "ex" in the first place, but that's a whole other crazy story).

She knows I don't fall for mind games, I guess I'm a little worried that she might be telling me the truth, she lived with me for about a year, I do care about her well being..

Since its bothering you, you are falling for her mind games. If she really had cancer her biggest concern shouldn't be calling a ex boyfriend from 6 months ago and being on the other side of the country, what could you do about it anyway?

Yeah she totally framed the cat. My cat hasn't ever broken any pictures

Does my kitty look guilty??? Best cat I've ever had...

Best of luck with your situation Paul. You have a friend here if you need to talk.

Don't be so quick not to blame the cat though. These two, Daisy and T-Bone, did a number on a box of Little Debbie cupcakes. Out of 6 left in the box, only 2 were salvageable.

What doesn't show in the picture is the dead giveaway chocolate frosting all over the side of Daisy's head and ear. Totally busted!!! T-Bone giggled, pointed a paw at her and walked out the door.

But I didn't hear him tell her to Think About It. :-)

Thanks Leanna, The girl wasn't a very good lier, she broke the pic... She is a good person, I'd never trash talk her, just to many issues with her.. She wanted to get married a month after we met.. I tried to help her all that I could, put her car on my insurance to save her $400 every 6-months, she blew that deal with a stunt.. All the time she was here she helped me on bills 3 months... It just turned into a bad relationship, she didn't want me out of her sight, that kinda stuff smothers me...

oooh becareful with dogs and chocolate.it can make them very sick =o(

(found out the hard way,but he recovered fine =0(

But I feel ya,Ive had some wacked out g/fs myself,i think its a hormone imbalance, estrogen

lol

I'm gettin' to old for the nutty drama...

And as most have said, I'll back up. The parting shot of "think about that" kinda confirms that this is a mind game. Either way, true or not, if she was rational, this shouldn't have been said.

It's okay to be concerned about her well being, what's not okay is to let her play with your mind and she's doing just that. Walk away, bro. Walk away.

Sounds like a crazy woman to me and not a good liar either. The cat story sounds like a lie like you already know. I don't like liars they are same a thieves to me. More than likely having leukemia is another lie. She's trying to put a guilt trip on you.

Good point ramenth, I would expect that kind of call from a drunk person, she was sober.. My first responce when she told me her doc thought she had it was, "I didn't give it to ya did I", I was still half asleep wasn't being a smart-azz... She was talking really fast, it was a short conversation... Her starting the call and hang up thing is pretty obvious also, I think she has me back in her crosshairs...

My grand paw always told me that a liar will do anything to ya, he was right...

I'd try call block..she should get the message....this person no longer wants to communicate with your crazy butt.
