around here be lucky to get 1500. old Dodge trucks are hard to find. everyone keeps the old Dodge, 73 w200 in my driveway.

So he has something you can actually live in and haul it around with in good shape for 13K. Doesn't seem to far off to me. It doesn't appear to be a rust bucket. If it was a Dodge Camper Special, everybody would be talkin about how badass cool it is.

The description states "never wrecked"! Well he just got a little close to a tree! LOL

This.. A good clean mid- late 60's Ford F series has no problem getting 5-8,000 minimum in CA. People want pre smog trucks, something fierce out west.

Really? I should buy up every old Ford on Craiglist and drive them down to Arroyo Grande then, I could retire pretty quick at that profit margin.

We paid $2,200 for this one. '71 F100, rebuilt 390, 4 speed, 4" lift, 35" tires, runs GREAT. So great in fact that I had to replace the original transfer case when my g/f decided she could actually do a burnout with the 35's. No kidding.:burnout: Damned impressive, but it destroyed the old 1 speed transfer case. It's got a NP435/NP205 combo out of a later F250 now. Helluva truck.

Looks like the seller has a pretty nice, clean truck, but if anyone gives him more than $4k for it they smoke more crack than he does. It's got a worn out 352, and it's a long bed. 2wd too. Although it looks like its a 250, so bonus there. Heck it will probably cost at least a few hundred dollars to scrap that camper.

Must be a different situation, where you are at. Every vintage pre smog (decent shape) truck, gets inflated pricing here. The agricultural folk & 4 x 4 people destroy the nice ones, way too fast around here.

Pretty much all of Northern California near as I can tell, at least everywhere within a few hours of Sacramento...

$3,800 for '67 ranger longbed, 51k mile original V8

And the coup de grace, a '68 F100 SWB daily driver, 360 V8, black plates, $11k. Nice as it is, it's still overpriced

All of them are in better shape the original ad posted here, and most of the ones in comparable shape are pretty close to $4k. Like I said, if someone gives more than $4k for that truck they're nuts. And if they give more than $3k they overpaid.

Just about half what he is asking, is a great plenty

To each their own, around here they usually get higher than that. Just what I see on for sale signs, guy.....

Hey they aren't my ads man. 5 minutes and a little copy/paste work. I could post a dozen more if I wanted to waste the time. And I'd be willing to bet most of those folks would sell for ~$1k less if I showed up with cash.

If they're really selling for twice that down there someone should make a pretty nice profit buying them here and driving them down.

Well another 3K gets you

http://spokane.craigslist.org/rvs/5131094253.html

Or one tenth of that price and then go buy a camper

http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/5105865685.html

This plus another 3-5K for a used camper is still a better deal I think

http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/5124471203.html

I'd look......

http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/5125344735.html

How about THIS!!

http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/5100582577.html

Exactly. Although I wouldn't buy the '82 on account of the smog thing. At least here in California.

I know I would not sell MY Camper Special for a penny less than 5500 bucks. I don't care "what they go for"
