I would have said valve stems, but it doesn't apply as there is one stem for 4 valves.
Nice to know it makes it more of a pain for someone to screw with your valves and air.
These are Gorilla brand stemless valves which are subsurface mount and the case holds the stem and lugs key.
To check or add air the slotted cap is removed and the stem screws in.

Very cool, but it's more than a bit effed up that something like this even needs to exist.

Yea it is.
My youngest Son used to steal valve caps until I saw a 3lb can of them in his room one day.
I pretty firmly impressed on him how F'd up it was, and then he felt really bad about it.
I very seriously told him to go put them all back, and he had a look on his face that made me loose the stern look and start laughing.

I ran those on my mud truck, didn't have to worry about knocking off a valve stem. On another note, went to a tire shop the other day with my daily and the guy didn't put the valve stem cap back on one wheel. OCD kicked in and had to locate one in the garage right away.

I'm like that with some things.
Caps is one of em.:D

Just remember they can always cut the tire...................

I really like that but what if you lose the red box?

Someone is always stealing my Chrome metal caps. I'll catch the bugger some day .
Had the same thing happen to my Dodge Ram where they stole my brand new (2nd set) Mopar caps. Don't care who it is, the mthr fkr would've had broken fingers cause I like to hear them snap.

I get the ones with the hex, and wrench them tight. Fingers arent getting them off...
I have a baby crescent on my key ring, one use for it.

Saw a co-worker taking them off one of the work trucks, i gave him such a blast.
Then escorted him into shop and gave him a pocketfull.

Well; I'm not like you guys;
I could care less if they go missing. And I never lock the doors either. Yeah ok, I also don't leave anything in there of any value; I mean I'm not totally without smarts lol.
I mean how many guys in my neighborhood even if they could start it, could drive it lol. No, they'll have to tow it,
and figure out why it doesn't crank. And
after that why it doesn't fire, and
after that why it stalls all the time. And
after that why it won't rev past 1200 rpm,lol

Surely u have been to tulsa international raceway , I `ve never gone out there , what at least one chrome cap was stolen !!

I like mine as well, but only for the clean look, after 10 years of showing the car only one person has noticed and mentioned about them, they are a bit of a pain in the *** when filling the tyre, they are mainly made for off road 4x4 so as not to rip the stems off while in the mud and sticks.

My 1st car was a 68 Dart Ragtop slant six. I stole a set of hubcaps one night from a Dart in town. Spent forever polishing them up. They looked great! After two days I felt so bad, I snuck back and reinstalled them. What a surprise the owner must of had when they saw it the next day. I never steal but that was how I found out I am not a thief .
