did i tell you guys about the nurse at the doctors office the other day?
we were having the regular small talk when she noticed i was Dutch
well, her husband was stationed there, and it just so happened the base he was stationed at was only a mile or so from my parents house (on a side note, did you know militairy police has the authority to enforce civil law within a certain range of their base, including traffic laws? it is quite an interesting experience to get pulled over by officers carrying C7s)
so we got to talk about the town i grew up in and she mentioned a few places i didnt know
then i mentioned a few places she didnt know

then i realized, she was there 4 years ago...i have been gone for almost 20
