That's a pretty bad photoshop.

I have the 401, all I need is the Gremlin..

I rode to lunch with a guy at our community college back in the day, who had a Gremlin with a small block chevy that was built out the ying yang, with a Muncie M22 in it. He scared me half to death in that thing! Mainly cause he couldn't drive!! A Hellcat Gremmie? That's a big nope!

I like the look of the stock Gremlin front end much better. They are cool little cars. ........and @diymirage they ARE stations wagons, dork. lol

It's actually a Hornet with the trunk cut off.

They made Hornet wagons.

The front sheet metal (fenders, hood, grill, doors) interchange.

I admit to being a life long Mopar guy, but I did pick up my first AMC last winter, it is just a 75 258 straight six Hornet, but it is a cool little car and there are lots of die hard cool AMC guys out there. There were some V8 Hornets factory.
I am amazed at the following now days for the Gremlin.
They are scarce for sure.

Around '95, a friend of mine had a 75-ish 304 hatchback with rallye wheels, buckets and console.

I always liked that car but he and his wife hated it because it was "old".

Not hardly and rust and drove well.

i had a 1977 Hornet AMX with a 304, dana 20 posi rear, and an amc 727

Here's cool lookin wagon-

They became the AMC Eagle and were offered in 4x4 versions.

Loooong production run for that platform.

...and you could get a 360 "SC\Hornet".

Nice size for today's traffic and parking spaces, too.
