I just got a very good deal on a FBO ignition set up, so I am officially ditching the ballast resistor for the first time in my Mopar life, and clearing out my stash of boxes and coils.
Both ignition boxes are made in USA, and the black ignition coil is made in USA. The chrome bracket and MSD coil I’m sure we’re made in China, but both work wonderfully.
All of the stuff comes off of a running driving car. The hi rev and rev a nator coil were on a 383 with low miles on the parts but the PO beat the coil up a little when pulling the motor. And the msd and select box were used on a slant six daily driver for several years.
Both ballast were known to be good when pulled, one has numbers on it might be a mopar part, the one from the slant six car is a recent parts store purchase.
