In dash CD Player...how to mount?

I've installed a standard 1" DIN aftermarket CD player in my 72 Demon (cut the dash to fit), but I'm not quite sure on what the best way to secure it is.

For those that have done this already, how did you secure the headunit so that it doesn't move around? If you have pictures that would be great too thanks.

I am think of something like this, and keeping the stock AM radio.

There is a cage that DIN units fit into. You'll need to attach the cage in some fashion similar to how the stock radio was attached to the dash. Bottom rear of the cage to bottom of dash with light metal straps and sheet metal screws.

I don't know about you but I had an L like bracket attached to the back of the am radio. You can use that most radios have a bolt on the back for grounding. Helps with ground loops.
