Has anyone installed a Big Block from the bottom with the headers mounted to the engine?

I installed my big block from the bottom with the headers mounted. Was not that difficult.

Second time NS1RM21 did it for his Barracuda, he built a shorter engine/trans cart that's narrower and tapers down at the back/trans.

Yep, that is the way to do it. Everything can be bolted on the engine and torqued in place. Then you lift it up into the car and hold it there while you also lift the K frame and related parts into place.

When I did mine,Snap-on builds a creeper that carries 800 lbs. I put a assembled 426 Hemi on the k frame and set it on the creeper and rolled it in
Well, the one thing I can say is that everybody is innovative about how to get it under the car.

I have to share my cobbled up removal fixture for the 318 I dropped out from the bottom. Embarrassing but worked better than I hoped. Two 6x6 landscape timbers with two 1k lb. dolly's screwed to the bottom.
Don't lift the car like I did from the bumper brackets unless you are replacing them, don't ask me how I know. I laughed how easily this was accomplished. I installed the assembled big block the same way, but subsequent removals were from above.

Looks Great and that was a pretty smart home made dolly to remove the motor.
