Interior door handle loose

My drivers side interior door handle is flopping around loose as a goose.....

It still works, but it's fixin' to let go!

What is a typical cause of this. ....what all is involved in the repair?

phillips head screw driver, handle against the door panel to get its tip in the screw hidden back end inside the handle.

Really?! Ya think it's just loose?
Awesome. ...I didn't want to start taking things apart...figured I'd ask the people with experience. ...
