Hey Guys,
Im having some Issues starting the Motor In the Car for the first time.
Ill give you guys a rundown on the engine,
It was Started on the Dyno, Run In on the Dyno Totaling 10 Hours of Load.
The Issue is, the Engine will Fire then DIE Straight away and Backfire out of the Carburettor, Lighting any fuel in the intake and just sit there alight (Scares the **** out of me!)
I put the Dizzy in By,
Turning #1 to TDC After the Intake Valve Closes, Lining up the Balancer with 0 Degree's and Dropping in the dizzy.
What I then do, is turn the Balancer to 10 Degree's BTDC and Turn the Housing of the Distributor so the Rotor Button Lines up with the #1 Terminal on the Cap and start my Firing order Clockwise from there (1,5,3,6,2,4).
Carburettor is a Holley 650CFM, Ignition is the Standard Bosch Electronic Distributor and an MSD 6AL Box with a Blaster 2 Coil.
Fuel system is a Holley Blue, with the Supplied Reg. -8 Lines from the tank to the reg and -8 from the Reg to the Holley.
I Have Spent two Nights on this and I am starting to get frustrated.
Please Help Mopar Guru's!
