The only Remflex gaskets I've ordered are for a slant, and I got them off Amazon. I have ordered several over the years. A while ago I got one that was all buggered up inside the package. The cardboard backer and shrink wrap, along with the shipping box were in good shape and intact but the manifold gasket was screwed up - which means it left the factory as a damaged unit. I sent that one back and got a good one as a replacement.
I just ordered another set from Amazon and on arrival it's clear the package was opened, one of the gaskets in the two-gasket set was removed, then this was sent to me. The manifold gasket that was in the package again was goobered up to where it would not seal. I returned it to Amazon asking for a replacement which arrived yesterday. The replacement one at least had an intact package but inside the factory shrink wrap again the manifold gasket was messed up. I'm not paying $40+ for substandard parts so this will go back again.
Is anyone else having this problem? It appears to me the factory is producing garbage and sending it out to the consumer. These have not been damaged in transit, they left the seller's place already messed up.
