Rant, why is it every time I call 440 source asking about specific parts i purchase whomever picks up the phone has got a shitty attitude?

I asked the guy that this afternoon when I asked about some rockers, I told him every single time ( about 4 times ) How do you expect to run a business with the way you treat people. Zero ambition to answer questions and an attitude as if im bothering someone just to call.

He said he didnt know but they seem to be doing pretty good.

I told him to have a nice day and hung up.

Something in the air lately maybe... I have been getting that too from many places I deal with...along with people who are just plain sloppy and careless and don't see anything wrong with being that way.

I think it may be the same guy who answers the phone when people call in. Cant imagine the entire crew being that way

Hit them in the pocket book. Don't do business with them. See how quick there shitty attitude changes if all FABO members stop.

I've had the same impression dealing with 440 source.

call hughs engines and ask for Dave, nice guy and very knowledge able !
Beat me to it, but Hughes , Dave has always treated me like I was important to Them. Same with Frank Lupo at Dynamic convertors. This is why I deal with them only when possible.

Not that I was really all that interested in their rockers cause how good could they be at 200 bucks and everyone else is over 500. I do feel like making one more call and telling knumnuts that picks up I bought them somewhere else.

Don't cheap out on the rockers, it will bite you in the ***!
I understand, Ive read that before, I ended up buying PRW stainless set, I hadnt really read any bad reviews online, they are bushed as apposed to a torington bearing and I wont have to worry about the aluminum splitting.
They were right at 5 hunsky and so if that tells anything Id say they definitely shouldnt be trash.

I also talked Indy cylinder head into taking back the cylinder heads I bought from them about 6 months ago in exchange for the Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads so Im thinking Im gonna have a pretty decent set-up fo what Im trying to do ( all show and just a little go :) )

Should be there all day as far as I know. Its always best to call or text ahead of time

I've had nothing but excellent customer service from 440 Source. It may have everything to do with how you approach them.

Or who you are? I can see you getting a better attitude than just another caller.

Too funny, do you work there?

I understand that if you call them up sounding demanding or arrogant than maybe if the guy on the other end is having a bad day than you might get cocky, arrogant higher than though treatment but usually the rule of thumb to being a good sales rep is to adapt to the customer, he is the one spending the money.

For the record none of the 4 times Ive called did I have the wrong attitude, no one owes me nothing except for what I pay for and I dont need anyone ballin me for a sale.

I've never had an issue with 440Source. I usually know what I need and I don't call them unless they have what I want so I suppose that helps. If I had to sit on the phone all day talking to tire kickers I'd get wore out too.

There are a few folks in the Mopar world who are consistently unpleasant to deal with but I think most everyone knows who they are by now.

I gotta admit, I never had any problems w/ them, altho I bought from hughs.

Seems like from what Ive read here the guys that pretty much have all the answers dont seem to have an issue which I guess means 440 source dont have no time for dumbasses ( like me ) and thats fine, I dont care.

Carry on and good luck but just h ave to say I run my own small business, Im so small that I dont even matter but I know impatience/arrogance/unwillingness to help dosent pay and soon enough they are gonna be wondering why the phones are ringin.
