I'd take to old one also. The new one looks to big and bulky
for me.

i pick first....i'll take the old 1

If someone is handing out Hot Rods I'll take either!!!!!!!!!!

They both rock....

I would take both LOL I have built 2 70 challengers and some day I will have a 3rd one but if someone gave me a 71 I would just swap out the grill and be happy..

I would take the 71 0ver the new one, but I would turn down the new one either. I think it just looks bad a$$ in that pic.

are mopar guys actually complaining about a 2door 392 hemi powered 2007 challenger...lol GIVE ME EITHER! Thank god there is something to run with the mustangs, 2door, with a DODGE emblem on it.

I don't think anyone is complaining, but you are right. The new one is going to destroy the Mustang, and Camaro.
(I do love the look of the old girl.tough looking car)

i agree,,,,A 2 dooor hot rod from the factory,,with a penastar,,,,,give me both thank you very much

I like em both. Kinda funny to think the 71 is probably worth more than the new one.

its cool that they are finally building a rwd v-8 2 door car again but i'm sorry that thing is just ugly next to the classy lines of the 71...

I will say Mopar is still doing a darn good jod.

so lets take one of each here at FABO.

Or do you think you will be happy with just one.

I sure wouldn't give up my old E-bod for a new Challenger, but from what we've seen (Carlisle) and read it will be a fine representation of Mopar muscle. Shame few will be able to afford it. It's going to be a nice car. A new Challenger, it won't be an E-body, what will it be? Never thought of this until now, is it made on the 300 or Charger chasis?

I remember that we had more guys complaining about all they wanted was a 2 door RWD car, and that the 4 dr automatic Charger sucked. Hey we have a 2 door car with RWD V8, and a 6 sp man trans to boot. It might not be quit as good looking as the old one, but it defiantly is retro looking with a cool modern twist. If we want Chrysler to come up with more of this type of car, let’s get out there and order one! Who know one day you'll be telling stories about how you owned a 6.1 Hemi with 6 sp man trans, in the good old days.

the only thing i dont like on the new challenger is the no chrome bumper look,,,im wondering how long it wil be till some one adapts a chrome bumper to one,,, but as far as i see it,,it is a purpose built car,, MUSTANG fighter,,
HEMI powered,STICK SHIFT,,,and the best part it will,,go,,it will stop,,it willl corner,, it will ride nice,,,,so why would any one want to spend 50000.00 for a vintage challenger,,that handles like do do,,,,,cant stop,,,,doesnt have a hemi,,,,but i would like to see a interior selection,,,those SRT/8 seats look uncomfortable to me,,,,,but who will care when your plastered to the seat,,,from flooring a HEMI,,,,,,,,,,,,,,with cylinder deactivation......

where do i get an order form,,,if we dont support these cars,,,they wont build any more,,,,,,,,,5.7 hemi challenger to be priced in the 31000.00 area....

the 6.1 chargers have come down in price so expect 6.1 challenger to be in that same area,,,,,sign on the dotted line,,its the AMERICAN way,,,
