The reduced shank on the 11/32 Edelbrock is a little taller. That would skew the results slightly.

Looks like a thicker satellite as well. Maybe just flow test the valves at the same lift where both exposed an equal amount of under cut stem

The Hughes valve is about 0.020" thicker.
